This article from Ecology and Society published in 2011 describes the advantages and downfall of using traditional ecological knowledge of Aboriginal Autralians when working in a Natural Resource Management field. This article goes into specific detail about using indigenous seasonal knowledge, which is often documented using ecological calandars and its many applications to aspects of NRM. This article does find that utilizing aborigianl seasonal knowledge can increase the resilience of social-ecological outcomes in Natural Resource Management.
