Wildlands Restoration Volunteers
WRV is a volunteer-centered organization that organizes over sixty high-quality ecological restoration projects on Colorado public lands each year. They welcome volunteers from a variety of backgrounds to contribute to healing our public lands and taking leadership positions within the organization.
Their mission is to foster a community spirit of shared responsibility for the ecological stewardship and restoration of public and protected lands.
Projects are led almost entirely by volunteers, and they have an extensive leadership training program, which provides important skills needed to lead our projects. These skills are transferable to many other areas of life, and provide a basis for empowered engagement in conservation issues.
