Kimberly Skyelander hired as CCC's 1st Associate Director!

The Center for Collaborative Conservation at Colorado State University is pleased to announce that Kimberly Skyelander will be joining our staff as our first Associate Director. Kim received her PhD from the University of Idaho in Natural Resources Management and is currently the President and Executive Director of the Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center in Finland, MN. She was also on the faculty at the University of Idaho and Salish Kootenai College, and she has extensive experience working for the US Forest Service as a Tribal Government Liaison, Public Affairs Specialist, Assistant District Ranger, and Wildlife Biologist. Throughout her career, she has worked with issues surrounding conservation and peoples’ livelihoods. She believes strongly in bringing people together to share ideas, discuss common ground, and collaborate on solutions to natural resource challenges. We are excited for her to join the team in August 2011.
