Your support makes a difference

Our mission is to help create innovative and lasting conservation solutions for people and nature through collaboration. In order to effectively address increasingly complex conservation challenges, we must change the status quo. We must collaborate! Your support enables the CCC to offer more opportunities to students, faculty, and practitioners to gain practical, hands on experiences in collaborative conservation. The field trips, internships, fellowships, trainings, and publications that the CCC supports are critical to equipping future and current conservation leaders with skills in collaboration.

Great innovations occur when the private sector, public sector, universities, and citizens come together to tackle large problems! Our Case Statement is attached here for you to better understand why we do what we do!

Why is collaboration so important?

  • Challenging problems can best be addressed by uniting the concerns and desires of all affected people, regardless of their differing values.
  • Human economies and natural environments can mutually benefit one another and must do so to promote global and environmental stability.
  • Local communities need to make local decisions about their lands and waters, and be responsible stewards.
  • Often, the best solutions come from acting together on problems of shared interest.
  • Solving today’s problems together will create the most effective leaders for tomorrow.

We invite you to review our Case Statement to see specific ways you can help us achieve our goals.
